Both connect the same way and work with the same apps. The BLE+ uses the newer command set and is a little more stable.

Is an app included?
No. You download a compatible app from the App Store or Google Play – to get started we recommend Car Scanner ELM OBD2, which is free for the basic functions.
Will it work with my car?
Petrol cars from 2001 and diesel cars from 2004 (EU) are supported for standard OBD2 functions. Check your car with the compatibility check.
My iPhone says “not supported”.
That’s normal and not a defect: on iPhone you don’t pair in the Bluetooth settings – you connect only inside the app.
What can’t the adapter do?
Oil service reset and DPF regeneration are usually not possible. ABS, airbag etc. are only available for certain vehicles via special, usually paid apps.
